    Anco Marzio: the Virtuous King

4th issue of the series 'THE 7 KINGS OF ROME', this year dedicated to the fourth King Anco Marzio (678 BC - 616 BC)

Grandson of NUMA POMPILIO, he was the last of the Sabine kings and reigned for 25 years.

He was the advocate of the policy of 'Armed Peace': never attack first but otherwise lay down arms last.

Anco Marzio was the builder of the port of OSTIA, at the mouth of the Tiber (Ostium = Foce, in Latin), which gave the eternal city its first outlet to the sea. Under his reign, the first prison was also built, and above all the first bridge over the Tiber River: the 'SUBLICIO' bridge, made entirely of wood.

The body of this year's pen is made of handcrafted 'Noce Daniele' wood, to recall the Sublicio bridge and the first Roman ships.

Exclusively distributed by Stilo Fetti and produced by Leonardo Officina Italiana, the pen - like its predecessors - is in fountain pen version only.

The trim and nib are in gold laminate.

The nib bears the '753' logo, the name of the collection and the date of the Birth of Rome.

The pen is scheduled to be released on 21 April, the date commemorating the Birth of Rome.

Limited and numbered version in Roman numerals in only 100 pieces worldwide.

The pen nib is available in different sizes. Extrafine, Fine, Medium, Broad and Stub .

Double filling system: cartridge filling (standard Pelikan type) or piston filling whit convert
